5th week for IT
the third week in ViE:
I start do the project. My project is about GigE Remote IO card.

To control multiple cards or so-called remote controlling with only one computer, one of the best ways recommended is to assign the IP address for each card and control by using theory of data communication.
To perform this method, master and slaves are needed. In this case, master as its sound name plays the role of controlling all other slaves. It may give the request to slaves as well as listen to the respond of slaves and process received information whereas slaves only can listen to request from master and response to it.

My third week
I got the offer from Vitrox cooperation under ViE technologies sub company.
I am working at R&D department
The first week at here is for me to get used to embedded system using FPGA.
Aso, i am getting familiar with Alter chip and software: Quartus II

My first week for industrial training
I do industrial training in uniten, under Dr Chong Kok Hen, who is also my supervisor.
The first day i came to find him to see what i have to do for my training. But he said that, now there was no project avaible yet and asked me to wait. For the time being, i could go to bh lab and learnt wat Chan yee did.
The second day, i went to bh lab and learnt the motion control project of Dr Jonny. I learnt the many things new from ladder diagram.
The third day, i went to my friends' room and they said they were assigned many projects by Dr Tiong. I asked them to let me join because i very like do project. The project is about TNB meter reading. I must open to see all the components inside, See how it works. It is quite interesting because i am interested in hardware design and software programming.
The forth day, i jt did research about that project. Nothing special
The fith day, also the last day of the first week, i went to Dr Tiong's office with my friends. I was assigned to do the powerpoint for Smart solar tracking system proposal and must submit it on Mon.

The second week
In this week, my job is to figure out the idea of how to transfer data from TNB meter to another PIC16 controller.
Last week, Dr Tiong got tell us about the basic block diagram of smart meter reading but we need to find out more the detail of how it really works and how the pins are connected.
I did the reseach about how the LCD 8 bit MCU works and gave the idea of programming for the MCU to tranfer data to output ports. However, he said we cant do anything with controller. No programming. So there is only way to do is to take data out from the LCD.
Hence, another idea is required and due date is Wed.
Luckily, we found sth and told him about that,
Hoa is asked to do the power point to proposal this title.
